Green Party of Canada – Scarborough Southwest Nomination Meeting

This will be the Green Party of Canada – Scarborough Southwest Nomination Meeting to select our candidate in the upcoming federal election of 2015

The nominees are:

Lindsay Thompson

Richard Hennick

Tommy Taylor

Special Guest : Jim Harris – Well known speaker on Business, Innovation and the Environment, leader of the Green Party of Canada from 2003 to 2006.

When: Tuesday, July 21, 7pm to 8:30pm

Where: Oakridge Community Recreation Centre, 63 Pharmacy Avenue

Craft Room at Northwest corner (turn left as you enter through the main entrance)

Directions:

* about a 2 minute walk north along Pharmacy Avenue from Danforth Avenue – take either 113 Danforth or 20 Cliffside buses OR

* about a 5 minute walk from the Victoria Park subway station east along Denton Ave OR

* you can take the 67 Pharmacy bus from the station and get off at the second stop OR

* you can drive – there’s lots of parking

To be eligible to vote you must be a member and have joined at least 30 days prior to the meeting and live in the riding of Scarborough Southwest.

Lapsed members can renew their membership up until the Nomination Meeting.
